After winning the November election, President Donald Trump added Disney CEO Bob Iger to his board of financial advisers and economic growth. After a slew of controversial executive orders, Iger is deciding to show up to a planned forum February 3.
Iger was the only entertainment industry executive on the board that included SpaceX & Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Uber CEO Travis Kalanick, JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon, Walmart CEO Doug McMillon and General Motors CEO Mary Barra.
Since the December 2 announcement, the rider share company Uber has received backlash over their political views-- it looks like Iger could be trying to protect Disney's image and not follow the same path as Uber.
