Light-up Cotton Candy, Macarons and More New Treats at Magic Kingdom

8:20pm ET

As we approach the summer season, Disney has slowly been implementing new snack offerings throughout the parks. Main Street U.S.A. is the sight of one of the park's newest treats. Light-up cotton candy offers a new spin on an old favorite. The bags of sugary candy light up in different colors (video here). These treats have been spotted at media events before but never in the parks for daily ops. You can find them at the snack carts around the castle and Main Street once the sun goes down.

The next stop is in New Fantasyland where two different sets of macarons are being sold. At Gaston's Tavern, guests have the choice between two macaron samplers. One tray features pistachio, raspberry and lemon while the other has coffee, chocolate and vanilla-- there is no mixing and matching.

Lastly, you can cap off the night with the park's brand new nighttime spectacular Happily Ever After while eating some new snacks featured at the dessert party. Many of the traditional desserts carried over from the Wishes party, but there are a few new treats to snack on during the fireworks including a red velvet cupcake featuring artwork from Happily Ever After. This party also features macarons, like at Gaston's Tavern. Other available items that aren't pictured include assorted cheeses, cheesecake, cookies, ice cream, rice krispy treats, sparkling cider and a variety of soft drinks.
