Memorial Day weekend kicks of Disneyland's Summer of Heroes event-- and the Guardians are ready to storm DCA.
Here's the first ever look at full-size Groot; he debuted at Hollywood Studios in his 'Baby Groot' form in the beginning of May.
Groot will be roaming around DCA's first ever Marvel attraction: Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission BREAKOUT!
We hinted at Groot making his appearance back in 2016:
The tree-like friend will become a long-term character experience at Disney California Adventure Park,while Star Lord and Gamora are limited time.
During the 'Summer of Heroes' event, Star Lord will be making appearances in the 'Awesome Mixtape Dance Party' while Gamora keeps an eye on the galaxy from afar.
Other Marvel heroes like Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Spider-Man will also make their presence known and be available for photo-ops on the streets of DCA during this summer-long event.
