The 'Summer of Heroes' is quickly approaching and that means guests will soon get to embark on their mission in freeing the Guardians of the Galaxy.
The newly re-designed thrill ride is nestled in the back of Disney California Adventure Park-- where Imagineers just put the finishing touches on The Collector's Fortress.
In the Fortress, guests will be able to view the rare items in Taneleer Tivan's extensive holds... and will also see that he collected the Guardians of the Galaxy.
The Tivan Group mans the tower-- and a massive generator keeps Star Lord and company locked up. It's up to the guests, or in this case, new adventurers to help attack the facility and breakout!
Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission BREAKOUT! officially opens May 27, coinciding with DCA's 'Summer of Heroes' event.
