Disney's Coronado Springs Resort will be growing immensely over the next two years.
A 24-month long project will add a new 15-story tower to the property, increasing the hotel's capacity by 500 rooms. This addition will feature both suites and concierge level services.
The new tower will overlook Lago Dorade and feature rooftop dining, giving guests a panoramic view of nighttime fireworks from nearby parks.
Existing rooms will also undergo renovations during this massive overhaul and Disney says the resort's landscape will change to feature an oasis, bridges and more horticulture.
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort will also be some improvements of their own. They'll be receiving additions to Centertown marketplace which includes waterfront dining and retail shopping areas. These renovations are aimed to increase accessibility for guests staying at the resort.
There is no timeline for the completion of this project.
