Shanghai Disneyland officially opened in June, but executives are already announcing future projects. TWC CEO Bob Iger, Parks & Resorts CEO, Bob Chapek, and chairman of Shanghai Shendi Group, Fan Xiping recently came together to break ground on the park's new expansion.
Like many other attractions at Shanghai Disneyland, Toy Story Land will be authentically Disney while keeping true to the Chinese culture. This section of the park will feature three attractions as well as a location for character meet and greets.
There is no opening date set for Shanghai Disneyland's Toy Story Land-- but Shanghai Disney Resort already has a functioning Toy Story themed hotel for guests.
