The Muppets are back-- this time as babies!
Disney Junior is helping to revive Muppets Babies, which ran from 1984-1991. The show featured cute & cuddly versions of Kermit, Ms. Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Rowlf, Gonzo and the rest of the gang.
Debbie McClellan, Vice President of The Muppets Studio says:
“Bringing Muppet Babies to Disney Junior is a wonderful opportunity to reach a new generation of viewers and to creatively build on the innovative original series, we hope to engage and delight the nostalgic fans while also entertaining new kids, parents and diverse audiences through heart and humor as only the Muppets can deliver.”
The show will rely on new-generation CGI technology to bring the babies to life.. and each episode will contain two 11-minute adventures.
Muppets Babies will be back on the air in early 2018.
