A little over a month before Moana surfs into theaters, and with the hype building, more clips from the film are emerging. The latest excerpt from the movie shows Moana (Auli’i Carvalho) meeting demigod Maui (The Rock) for the first time.
At one point, Maui pulls Hei Hei out of the sand and uses him to scribe into the oar while telling Moana "if you use a bird to write, it's called Tweeting"-- showing Director John Lasseter's continuance of ingenuity and modernization in his films.
Moana hits theaters November 23, 2016.
