Orange County Deputies arrested a man after he was accused of trying to bring a gun into Magic Kingdom earlier today. Arrest reports indicate that Arkansas native Kevin Webb was randomly selected to go through a metal detector prior to park entrance-- and that's where security found a concealed firearm on him.
Authorities say Webb claimed to be a police officer visiting the park, and showed his I.D. to deputies. The 42-year-old was carrying a pistol loaded with 7 rounds and an extra 25 round magazine in his pocket. Upon further investigation, local law enforcement learned that Webb was fired from the force in 2013 for dishonesty. He now faces felony charges of carrying a concealed firearm and impersonating an officer.
Webb bonded out of jail Monday night (August 8).
