Feliz Cinco De Mayo! Today, Coronado Springs (Disney's Mexican-inspired resort) celebrated the holiday to the fullest. Resort cast members participated in a pargo (golf cart) decorating contest, seeing who could put the emotion of the latino culture into a simple golf cart. Pictures below show the different floats that various departments (engineering, housekeeping, etc.) developed. The floats were shown-off in a parade around the campus-- led by none other than the fabulous Minnie Mouse and Walt Disney World Ambassador Nathaniel Palma. Once the parade came to an end, judges awarded the top entries and handed out treats to everyone in the area. Then, Minnie Mouse came back out to join in on the fun-- taking pictures with all of the guests and participants. This is just one of the many cool things Walt Disney World Resorts have to offer.
