It's 2017-- and by now many of us are familiar with cryptic Tweets, but what about cryptic Instagram posts? Director Jon Favreau, who's incredibly active on all social media platforms, is heading the project which re-imagining Disney's The Lion King.
With few details on the film, the director took things to Instagram, and it looks like he's revealing some of the cast.
Donald Glover, a.k.a. Childish Gambino, has risen to stardom in the eyes of millennials. He've a huge super hero nerd and is finally fulfilling his dream of playing Spider-Man in Sony's Spider-Man: Homecoming and voicing Miles Morales in the T.V. series., he's also an award-winning rapper and a Golden Globe recipient for his role in FX's Atlanta.
If this IG post holds true, Glover can add this to the list of future Disney projects, which consists of playing Lando in the upcoming Han Solo movie.
Favreau followed up on the Gambino post with another picture... teasing to the fact that James Earl Jones will be back to play Mufasa for a second time.
The actor lent his voice to the king of the jungle back in the 1994 animated feature.
James Earl Jones has an iconic voice to say the least; lending his talents to characters like Darth Vader and even stepping into the media world, becoming the voice of CNN.
