Disney California Adventure Park's Lunar New Year celebration is growing to 17 days in 2017.
Starting January 20, guests can join in on the festival featuring food, live performances, activities, decor, limited-time merchandise and special character meet-and-greets.
World of Color will celebrate Lunar New Year with a six-minute pre-show called "Hurry Home" every night. The show revolves around a Little Lantern on its journey home to join its family and celebrate the holiday-- there will also be special appearances from Mulan and Mushu during the water-projection show.
The park will also have three new Asian marketplaces offering Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese cuisine. Live entertainment, including a special act from Chinese acrobats, can be found throughout Paradise Garden.
Special meet-and-greet opportunities include Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Mulan & Mushu in their Chinese attire.
Annual Passholders will have special offerings including exclusive activities, a special button and photo-op. The "Lunar Year AP Corner" will be located near Paradise Garden Grill.
Lunar New Year runs from January 20 through February 5.
