An EPCOT cast member clears the air in the midst of Disney rumors by confirming a handful of EPCOT attractions will close next month.
An attractions cast member working at Sum of All Thrills says the following Innoventions East experiences will close on September 13.

When asked about Colortopia, a relatively new attraction, he shrugged his shoulders and said it's possible.. but there is a contract. The CM says it likely won't go away until the contract with "Gladden" expires-- but he mentioned there is always the chance of a renewal; although it seems unlikely.
The cast members at both the storm prevention experience and the roller coaster simulator will be cross-trained at other attractions in September. Right now, there is no confirmed replacement for these attractions, but it is believed new IP's (Marvel) could be included in future projects.
