The highly-anticipated sequel to Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is underway, and now we see a first-look at one of the monsters.
Empire Magazine got first dibs on the rights to this piece of concept art, showing Star Lord, Gamora, baby Groot, Rocket Raccoon and Drax fighting off the new monster. No word yet on if this will be the biggest, only or the final monster the Guardians take out in the next film-- but this photo from pre-production sure has fans drooling.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will hit theaters on May 5, 2017.
Vin Diesel (Groot) also recently announced that the Guardians would be making an appearance in Marvel's mega-film Avengers: Infinity War, which hits theaters in 2018.
