On August 11, Disney Parks welcomed crowned princess Elena of Avalor to the family by giving her a royal welcome ceremony at the Magic Kingdom. Creators, developers and even the Girl Scouts of Citrus Council were there to witness the first latin-inspired princess's induction.
At the ceremony, leaders made the announcement that Elena of Avalor's show on Disney Channel will be back for a second season. Here is video of the induction ceremony, the awarding of the first 'Scepter of Light" scholarship, as well as a welcoming from some royal friends:
