FIRST LOOK: ESPN's Cheerleading Complex

10:53pm ET Crews have been clearing land and building infrastructure to put together the world's first arena specially designed for dance and cheer competitions.

The new state-of-the-art venue now has an image to put along with it's promising descript. Disney Parks has released a photo of what the arena across from the Josten's Center will look like-- with 8,000 seats and four separate competition floors.

The building's design is being catered to the needs to dance and cheerleading competitions, but will also be able to service other sports like basketball, volleyball and music concerts (Night of Joy). ESPN's Wide World of Sports already hosts 9 cheer/dance competitions a year, and this expansion is expected to boost that number even higher. The new cheer complex should be open within the next year and a half.
