Disneyland Paris to Debut "Mickey and the Magician" Next Month

2:07am

Disneyland Paris has released a first look at their new show, Mickey et le Magicien (Mickey and the Magician).

The show that's replacing Animagique after 14 years, is set to debut July 2nd at Walt Disney Studios Park. In the concept art (pictured above), you see a lonesome mouse in a new look, equipped with a bucket of water, a brush and a large room with various objects. Per Disneyland Paris, the storyline involves the one and only Mickey Mouse working day-in and day-out at a magician's workshop. There is a secret attic of the magician that becomes a vibrant and enchanted atmosphere, housing artifacts, inviting accessories and abstract objects. Mickey's role is to clean up the attic, but his curiosity gets the best of him and his dream to become a magician quickly turns to reality. Elsa, Genie, guests from Beauty and the Beast, Fairy Godmother and Rafiki like you've never seen before come to help Mickey Mouse throughout the journey. All of these special friends will give advice to Mickey as he looks to make thing right while exploring the world of magic. Rafiki is an interesting character because he comes in and talks to mouse, in a character experience that we've never seen the wisdom-filled baboon, The show will be played 5 times a day, 7 times a week and runs just about 28 minutes long.
