After years of speculation and months of anticipation, Disney finally releases a first look at their newest live-action adaptation: Beauty and the Beast.
The trailer was first shown on ABC's Good Morning America and holds 1:30 of suspense in this whimsical trailer. At first, you hear the silky smooth voice of Lumiere, quickly cut-off by the apprehensive clock, Cogsworth. Towards the end, all viewers get what they've been waiting for: A quick glimpse of Emma Watson as Belle. No other characters were shown in the trailer, but here's a list at some of the familiar actors set to hit the big screen: Emma Watson - Belle

This retelling of an old classic seems darker and more mysterious than the animated original. Looking at the trailer, it seems as if the majority of the storyline will be about how Belle disobeys Beast while locked up in the castle, rather than the evolution of Beast as a character. Disney's animated classic Beauty and the Beast will celebrate its 25th anniversary in November.. and the live-action adaptation will hit theaters shortly after on March 17, 2017.
