From The Coolest Summer Ever, to the Frozen Processional to For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing Along Celebration and now: The Royal Sommerhaus and Frozen Ever After...Disney is finally putting together long-lasting attractions that will no longer feel like a stopgap. The meet-and-greet and attraction both share the opening date of June 21st.
Nestled in the heart of EPCOT's Norway Pavilion, Frozen fanatics will be able to fill their hyperborean hankerings with these two new attractions. The Royal Sommerhaus will soon become the only location where guests will be able to meet and take pictures with the girls of Arendelle; meaning Anna and Elsa will no longer meet in Magic Kingdom's Fairytale Hall. There were rumors of Anna and Elsa meeting in their summertime outfits (from the "Frozen Fever" short film), however, that will not be the case.
Frozen Ever After will take guests on an adventurous boat tour through Anna and Elsa's home kingdom of Arendelle. where they will go through different phases with the beloved characters. To start things off, they will see what Arendelle looks like in the summer before Elsa comes in and embraces her special powers to create eternal winter throughout the kingdom. Other phases of this ride include seeing the lovable trolls and taking a trip up to Elsa's Ice Palace before returning back to Arendelle.
Unlike the rest of the world showcase pavilions, Norway will open up the gates at 9a.m. starting June 21st. Fastpass+ for Frozen Ever After is available on My Disney Experience, and keep an eye out for Royal Sommerhaus to begin their Fastpass+ offerings as well. Even if the meet-and-greet does not offer Fastpass+, paying a visit to see Anna and Elsa will be well worth the wait.
