Take a look at this: A new droid spotted at Disneyland's Star Wars Launch Bay. Thanks to MintCrocodile (Twitter/YouTube), here's some footage of the new droid in action on the west coast. According to multiple people, there were signs saying Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI) was testing the new devices for a potential future guest experience" This droid does not represent any specific character from any of the movies, but will certainly make a name for itself the more it appears across property. I find this experience extremely similar to what Walt Disney World used to offer when Push the trashcan roamed around Tomorrowland up until the late 2000's. This new trial run of the Star Wars droid is an exciting sign of whats to come, but I don't think we will see this type of experience in Florida until the new Star Wars expansion begins to open up at Disney's Hollywood Studios. What Walt Disney World fans can look forward to: A Boba Fett interactive meet and greet will be coming within the next few months.
