Actor Michael B. Jordan and Director Ryan Coogler will be linking up for a third movie-- this time, it's for Marvel's Black Panther. The two previously worked on Creed and Fruitvale Station together. Some Marvel fans might even remember Jordan as The Human Torch from Fox Broadcasting's Fantastic Four. Well now, he's set to make his cinematic Marvel debut.
There's no word yet on what role the newly casted actor will fulfill, but he now joins Chadwick Boseman (as the Black Panther) and potentially Oscar-winning and recent Disney actress Lupita Nyong'o (Star Wars: The Force Awakens, The Jungle Book & The Queen of Katwe). There is no confirmation yet, but there are rumors circulating that she will join the cast. The Force Awakens' Andy Serkis is also rumored by IMDB to play Klaw in the upcoming superhero film.
Black Panther will start production in 2017 and is expected to hit theaters Feb. 16, 2018.
