A litte bit of extra pixie dust was sprinkled through Disneyland Resort as guests await Disney's next film, Alice Through the Looking Glass, to hit theaters. Golden Globe winning actor and fan-favorite, Johnny Depp, plays the Mad Hatter in this steampunk-esque, abstract upcoming film. Depp has been known to make appearances around Walt Disney World as Captain Jack Sparrow who he portrayed in Pirates of the Caribbean. This time-- he took things to the other coast as guests take a glimpse through the looking glass to come face-to-face with this whacky whit-faced protagonist.
Johnny Depp dove down a rabbit hole and met up with the Mad Hatter in Wonderland to surprise guests out in California. This is all part of a promotion for the film consisting of a new twist on a Disney classic. Alice Through the Looking Glass hits theaters May 27. Be on the lookout for Disney Infinity figures from the movie in the near future.
