Filming and production for the DCOM sequel less than a year after the announcement of Descendants 2.
Dove Cameron (Mal), Cameron Boyce (Carlos), Sofia Carson (Evie), Booboo Stewart (Jay) and Director Kenny Ortega are all back for the project.
There are also 3 new characters:
Uma, Ursula's daughter (China Anne McClain)
Gil, son of Gaston (Dylan Playfair)
Harry Hook, son of Captain Hook (Thomas Doherty)
This TV movie brings guests back to the land of Auradon, where there is a whole new element of mystery and surprise.
Disney Channel recently published this photo (right), saying that production and filming for the sequel is all wrapped up.
Descendants 2 is expected to air in the summer of 2017.
