Disneyland Reveals Holiday Festivities, 3 New Offerings

Christmastime is right around the corner-- and Disneyland is already gearing up for a season flooded with festive offerings.

Disney California Adventure park will kick things off on November 10th with a new addition to their 'Festival of the Holidays.' This year, the cultural winter celebration will be incorporating Disney's first Latina princess, Elena of Avalor, into their daily performances. Elena will then open up her own official meet and greet following the holiday season.

DCA will also be debuting a brand new World of Color: "Season of Light." The new nighttime performance will depict the warm and heartfelt spirit of the holiday season.. taking guests through a wintry fantasy brought to life by classic holiday songs and key moments from Disney movies.

Also new this year: Santa Claus will be meeting guests along the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail this winter. The trail will host numerous activities in an effort to get guests into the jolly spirit. He will also take the sleigh ride over to Disneyland park, where he will meet guests in Critter Country.

What's Returning?

This year, Disneyland will be bringing back 3 attraction overlays, their famous A Christmas Fantasy parade and their holiday-inspired Believe... in Holiday Magic fireworks show. Right now, guests can already hop in a doom buggy and experience the Nightmare Before Christmas-inspired Haunted Mansion Holiday. Starting in early November, they'll also be able to see the it's a small world and Jingle [Jungle] Cruise decked out for the yuletide season.

Disneyland Resort will be celebrating the holiday season in-full from November 10th through January 8th.
